As per reports, the National Institute of Meteorology (INMET) has issued an orange danger alert for parts of Rondônia, Pará, Amazonas, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás, Sao Paulo, and Tocantins for Tuesday (23 January).

• The warning indicates heavy rainfall until 1000 hours (local time) on Tuesday (23 January), with wind gusts between 60-100 km/h.
• Heavy rainfall is expected in Bahia, Minas Gerais, and Espírito Santo until 1000 hours (local time) on Friday (26 January).
• Yellow alert issued for parts of the North, South and Southeast, as well as some states in the Midwest until Tuesday (23 January).
