As per reports, the threat for damaging winds, large hail and scattered tornadoes have materialised for areas from Nebraska to Texas on Saturday (01 June).
• As per NWS estimates, Southeast Texas is especially vulnerable. The Houston area is under a severe thunderstorm watch until 1800 hours local time.
• The NWS has warned that, on Sunday (02 June), the risk for thunderstorms moves north, with the Dakotas, Nebraska, western Minnesota and Iowa expected to experience damaging winds and large hail.
• An enhanced risk outlook has also been issued for Sunday (02 June), with severe weather expected through the evening hours in Omaha and Norfolk.
