As per reports, the General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts heavy rainfall in parts of Turkey on Wednesday (21 August).

• Heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are in forecast for Istanbul, Bolu, Karabük and Kastamonu from 1300 hours local time on Wednesday (21 August).
• Scattered rainfall is in forecast for Hakkari, Van, Marmara, Western Black Sea, Kütahya, Eskişehir, Cankiri and Sinop.
