As per reports, Kazhydromet has forecast precipitation, thunderstorms, fog, frost, strong winds, and extreme fire danger across several regions of Kazakhstan on Sunday (28 September).

• Rainfall changing to snow is expected in North Kazakhstan, Akmola, and Kostanay regions, with heavy rain forecast in the east of Akmola. Ground frosts of minus one to minus two degrees Celsius are expected in parts of Aktobe, Kostanay, and West Kazakhstan regions.
• Thunderstorms are expected in mountainous areas of Zhambyl region, while strong southwesterly, northeasterly, and northerly winds will gust 15–20 m/s in Atyrau, Karaganda, Akmola, Kostanay, Pavlodar, Zhambyl, Turkestan, and Zhetisu regions, reaching 23–28 m/s in some areas.
• Fog is expected overnight and in the morning in Atyrau, Ulytau, Karaganda, Akmola, Kostanay, Pavlodar, Zhambyl, West Kazakhstan, Zhetisu, and East Kazakhstan regions.
• Extreme fire danger will persist in parts of Atyrau, Kyzylorda, Aktobe, Karaganda, Ulytau, Zhambyl, Almaty, Turkestan, Kostanay, and West Kazakhstan regions, while high fire danger will remain in Atyrau and Pavlodar regions.
