As per reports, a yellow weather warning has been issued for Buckinghamshire as the Met Office warns of high winds. Warnings have been issued for the whole of the UK expected to affect the region on Friday (24 January).

• The Met Office notice is in place from 0500 hours local time on Friday (24 January) until 1500 hours local time that same day with strong and gusty winds expected to move from west to east.
• Heavy rain is also expected as wind speeds are estimated to be in the region of 50 or 60mph over exposed coasts and hills.
• Eastern areas under the warning will see strong winds peak during the afternoon.
• The weather is mostly expected to affect coastal areas, with Brighton and Hove, East Sussex, Hampshire and Kent all facing gusts in the South East.
• The Isle of White and West Sussex also have the wind warning in place, and regions across the South West of England and Wales are likely to be affected.
• The warning covers inland areas of Angus, Perth and Kinross and some parts of western and northern Fife, as well as Dundee. The warning will be effective from 0300 hours local time until noon on Friday (24 January).
