As per reports, inclement weather conditions are expected in parts of Greece between Wednesday (15 October) and Friday (17 October).
• Localised rainfall and isolated thunderstorms are likely in the mainland, the Ionian Islands and Crete, with storm activity intensifying by the afternoon in the eastern Peloponnese on Wednesday (15 October).
• Visibility may be reduced in the early morning, especially in western areas where fog formation is expected.
• On Wednesday (15 October), light rainfall in the west and south of Attica is expected, with northeasterly winds up to four Beaufort. Thessaloniki may experience increasing clouds and evening rainfall on Wednesday (15 October).
• Central & Eastern Macedonia, Thrace, Epirus, Western Mainland, and the Ionian coast are expected to experience periodic rainfall, with fog in Epirus in the morning on Wednesday (15 October).
• From Thursday (16 October), rainfall is expected to intensify and expand across Epirus, the Ionian Sea, northwestern Peloponnese, Thessaly and Western Sterea, while on Friday (17 October), stronger storms are anticipated, particularly in western Greece, where Ionian wind speeds may reach seven to eight Beaufort, potentially disrupting marine transport.
