As per reports, alerts have been issued by the Civil Defense and the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) across Saudi Arabia, warning of moderate to heavy rainfall, strong winds, and thunderstorms from Tuesday (02 September) to Saturday (06 September).

• The Civil Defense highlighted that several governorates in the Makkah region, including Taif, Maysan, Adham, Al-Ardiyat, Al-Lith, and Al-Qunfudhah, are expected to experience significant rainfall starting Tuesday (02 September) and continuing until Saturday (06 September).
• In the Jazan region, the NCM has forecast heavy rainfall, hail, flash floods, near-zero visibility, and strong winds, affecting Jazan city and multiple governorates such as Al-Harith, Ad-Dayer, Ar-Raith, Al-Aridah, Al-Eidabi, Fifa, Harub, Baish, Ad-Darb, Sabya, Abu Arish, Ahad Al-Masarihah, At-Tuwal, Samtah, Damad, Farasan, and Al-Fatiha.
• In the Riyadh region, the warnings extend to the capital Riyadh and several governorates including Al-Dilam, Al-Muzahmiyya, Al-Kharj, Hawtah Bani Tamim, Al-Aflaj, Al-Sulayyil, Wadi Al-Dawasir, Ad-Diriyah, Rimah, and Dhurma, where strong winds reaching 40–49 kilometres per hour are expected to significantly reduce horizontal visibility.
