According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a yellow alert for thunderstorm, lightning and squall has been issued for Gangtok, Pakyong, Mangan, and Gyalshing on Monday (28 April).

Additionally, a warning for strong surface winds is in place in Gangtok, while a warning for heavy rainfall is also issued for Pakyong.
