As per the forecast issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), yellow alerts for heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning and strong surface winds have been issued in Mumbai City and Mumbai Suburban on Saturday (22 June).

As per the latest nowcast valid till 1900 hours, light rainfall (below 05mm/hour) is expected over both districts with the possibility of thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds in some areas.
