The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued orange alerts for heavy rainfall, hailstorms, thunderstorms, lightning, and squalls in the districts of Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Gurdaspur, Pathankot, Ferozepur, Fazilka, Moga, Faridkot, Kapurthala, and Hoshiarpur, on Monday (06 October).

Yellow alerts have been issued in all other districts of Punjab.
