The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued orange and yellow alerts in Andhra Pradesh from Monday (28 July) till Friday (01 August). The following are the additional details:

• On Monday (28 July), an orange alert for thunderstorms, lightning, squalls, and strong surface wind is issued in Eluru, while a yellow alert for thunderstorms, lightning, squalls, and strong surface wind is issued for all the remaining districts of Andhra Pradesh.
• On Tuesday (29 July), an orange alert is issued for Anakapalli, while a yellow alert is issued for all the remaining districts of Andhra Pradesh.
• From Wednesday (30 July) till Friday (01 August), a yellow alert is issued for all the districts of Andhra Pradesh.
