The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow alert across Uttarakhand on Wednesday (11 September). Moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms can be expected in districts including Uttarkashi, Dehradun, Tehri, Almora, Pauri Garhwal, Nainital, Champawat, Bageshwar, and Rudraprayag.
