India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued yellow alerts for thunderstorms, lightning, squalls and strong surface winds across Delhi till Friday (20 March).

• Weather conditions are expected to remain unstable, with intermittent cloud build‑up and the possibility of short‑duration rainfall episodes during this period.
• IMD has advised residents to remain cautious, particularly during thunderstorm activity, as gusty winds and lightning strikes may occur with limited advance warning.
