As per reports, the Casa para Viver platform has announced a public housing rights demonstration in Funchal at 1130 hours local time (1130 hours UTC) on Saturday (21 March).

• The assembly is scheduled to commence at 1130 hours local time (1130 hours UTC) at the Placa Central, adjacent to the Sé Cathedral in central Funchal.
• Organisers state that the initiative is intended to draw attention to the deterioration of housing conditions, including rising rents, real estate speculation, and access difficulties faced by families, young people, and workers.
• The Núcleo Regional do Movimento Porta a Porta is coordinating the Funchal event, appealing for participation from all those who support the right to housing in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
