According to reports, police officials apprehended two individuals at a checkpoint in Phang Nga for possessing a suspected homemade time bomb on Tuesday (24 June) morning.

Initial investigation suggested that the two men were hired to transport the explosive from the Thepha district of Songkhla to Phuket. Further investigations are underway.
