As per reports, Assam Chief Minister (CM) Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced that Union Home Minister (HM) Amit Shah will visit the state on Sunday (15 March). During his visit, the HM is scheduled to inaugurate the Pragjyotish Medical College in Guwahati at around 1000 hours (local time) and will also attend the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Yuva Sankalp Samavesh at around 1100 hours (local time), before departing in the evening hours.

In addition, according to the Assam BJP unit, around one lakh Yuva karyakartas (youth workers) are expected to participate in the Yuva Sankalp Samavesh, which will be held at the Veterinary College Field in Khanapara.
