As per reports, the head of the influential Histadrut labor federation in Israel on Wednesday (08 May) urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to set a date for early elections, indicating that on refusal, the union could resort to civic disruptions to affect the change.

• Speaking at a conference hosted by the Yedioth Ahronoth news outlet, Arnon Bar-David declared that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government had to be held accountable for the loss of lives and hence early elections were mandatory.
