As per reports, Nepal has stepped up security along its border with India ahead of the Assembly Elections in Bihar, the results of which will be declared on Friday (14 November).

Authorities increased surveillance at the Jatahi border checkpoint in Nepal’s Dhanusha, and shut the checkpoint till further notice on Thursday (06 November), as part of precautionary measures.
