The National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting (NCHMF) has forecast moderate to heavy rainfall across Hue City (Thua Thien–Hue) and the South Central Coast provinces, including Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan on Wednesday (10 December). Rainfall totals of 40–70 millimetres, with locally very heavy rainfall exceeding 150 millimetres, are expected.

On Wednesday (10 December), showers and thunderstorms are forecast across the Central Highlands provinces, including Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong and Lam Dong, with rainfall of 20–40 millimetres, locally higher than 80 millimetres. These conditions also apply to the Southern Highlands subdivisions of Dak Lak, Dak Nong and Lam Dong.
