As per reports, a heatwave has been impacting Karachi for multiple days but has now subsided. However, it is expected to intensify in other parts of Sindh from Thursday (24 April) onwards.
• The heatwave is likely to grip most parts of the province from till Tuesday (29 April) with the daytime maximum temperatures likely to be 6-8 degress Celsius above normal in Dadu, Kambar Shahdadkot, Shaheed Benazirabad, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Ghotki, Shikarpur, Khairpur, Nosheroferoz, Larkana, Sukkur, Jamshoro, Mitiari, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allahyar, Hyderabad and Badin districts.
• The temperatures are likely to be 4-6 degrees Celsius above normal in Tharparkar, Umerkot and Mirpur Khas districts.
