As per reports, on Monday (27 July), temperatures are expected to increase across central England, eastern England, southern England and East Wales, with daytime temperatures forecast to reach between 25 and 32 degrees Celsius.

• Temperatures are expected to peak at around 35 degrees Celsius in parts of England and East Wales later in the week.
• Reports indicate the hottest conditions are expected to develop across central England and eastern England by Tuesday (28 July) before expanding towards western England, northern England, southern England and East Wales.
• Reportedly, the anticipated rise in temperatures may result in a fourth heatwave of the year in some locations, as heatwave thresholds are met for three consecutive days.
• Reports indicate the possible affected areas include West Midlands, East Midlands, Warwickshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Hampshire, Surrey, Kent, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Cumbria, Powys and Monmouthshire.
