As per the Central Weather Administration (CWA), a yellow and orange warning for heat has been issued in Taiwan, on Saturday (24 August) through late evening hours.

• An orange warning has been issued for Taipei City and New Taipei City where the daily maximum temperature has reached 36 degree Celsius for four consecutive days.
• A yellow warning has been issued for Pingtung County where the daily maximum temperature has reached 36 degree Celsius.
