Gudi Padwa processions scheduled across Nashik on Thursday (19 March)

As per reports, as part of greetings on the occasion of Gudi Padwa, under the joint organization of the Nashik Municipal Corporation and the New Year Welcome Committee, processions have been organized across Nashik on Thursday (19 March). The scheduled processions will reportedly commence simultaneously from different locations at 0630 hours (local time), with a large number of participants expected.

Following this, the Municipal Corporation and the Police Administration have made necessary arrangements to ensure that the processions are conducted peacefully and smoothly.

• The procession will start from Maruti Mandir located in the Ganeshwadi area of Panchavati, and will conclude at Krishna Mandir.
• Similarly, the Swagat Yatra starting from Nag Chowk in the Kalaram Mandir area will go through Gurudwara-Satyagraha Chowk-Ramrath-Sardar Chowk and will conclude near Gopal Mangal Office.
• The Swagat Yatra starting from Madhuban Colony area will go through Dhikle Jogging Track, Makhmalabad Road, Spectrum Society, Awadh Society, the Arena Society, and the Jadhav Colony area, and will conclude near Maruti Mandir.
• In addition, processions will also start from Khutwad Nagar, Pawan Nagar, Matale Chowk, Adarsh Nagar, and Vanashree Nagar in the New Nashik area, and the entire procession will culminate at Mauli Lawns in Kamatwade.
