As per reports, the Goa Tourism Department has announced plans to commemorate Shiv Jayanti on Thursday (19 February) with a grand cultural production titled “Shiv Garjana”, complemented by a special drone light show.

The celebrations will commence at 0930 hours (local time) at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk near IHM, Porvorim, with ceremonial garlanding of the statue followed by a traditional Dhol Tasha presentation.

• The Shiv Garjana program will be held on Saturday (21 February) starting from 1800 hours (local time) at Shree Bodgeshwar Ground, Mapusa.
• In addition, a special cultural performance featuring over 150 artistes will be held, accompanied by a coordinated drone light show at the end of the event.
