According to reports, the Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) has decided to launch trade union action on Monday (17 November) in protest against the government’s handling of health service and doctor-related issues in the 2026 budget.

The industrial action will commence at 0800 hours (local time) across hospitals nationwide.
