As per reports, severe weather warnings are issued across Croatia on Wednesday (16 April) due to strong winds.

Winds will intensify in the evening, reaching gale-force levels in certain areas, with maximum gusts between 35 and 50 knots. These conditions will be accompanied by locally high waves, especially around exposed coastal and island areas.

• An Orange warning for strong winds is issued for the regions of Kvarner i Kvarneric, Middle Dalmatia, South Dalmatia, Split, Velebit channel and North Dalmatia from 0331 hours local time on Wednesday (16 April) to 0329 hours local time on Thursday (17 April).
• A Yellow warning for strong winds is issued for the regions of Dubrovnik, Knin, Rijeka and the West Istrian coast from 0331 hours local time on Wednesday (16 April) to 0329 hours local time on Thursday (17 April).
