As per reports, a forest fire was reported in Compartment 69, Rajwar, Handwara on the intervening night of Tuesday (09 December) and Wednesday (10 December).

Efforts by teams from the Forest Department and Fire & Emergency Services to control the fire are underway. Further details are awaited.
