As per reports, floods in Pahang have fully receded, with the last relief centre in Maran, which was housing seven victims, shut down on Wednesday (03 January), according to a National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) report issued at 2000 hours on Wednesday.
• The Irrigation and Drainage Department also stated that there were two rivers at danger level – Sungai Arau in Perlis and Sungai Pulai in Johor.
• The Nadma report said 19 roads were closed due to floods, landslides and damage, including Jalan Durian Mentangau in Terengganu, Jalan Sungai Sam to Dabong in Kelantan, Jalan Raya Timur Barat Kupang-Gerik-Jeli in Perak, and Jalan Kota Tinggi-Kluang in Johor.
• The Works Ministry on Facebook stated that as of 1800 hours on Wednesday (03 January), 17 disaster locations were detected, involving six federal roads and 11 state roads.
