As per reports, floodwaters submerged residential areas on Jalan Kapuk Muara Raya, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, on Monday (03 March) following the overflow of the Cagak River.
• Flooding began in the morning and remained stagnant by the afternoon, with water levels ranging from 50 to 60 centimeters.
• The flooding resulted from the overflow of the Cagak River, which is closely linked to the upstream flow of the Ciliwung River.
• The Ciliwung River, particularly at the Katulampa Dam in Bogor, had been placed on Alert Level One, indicating high-intensity rain and a rising water level.
