According to reports, the DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) recorded that as of 2000 hours, one neighbourhood unit (RT) and three roads were still flooded after heavy rainfall impacted the DKI Jakarta area on Tuesday (12 August).
• Joglo Subdistrict in West Jakarta is still flooded due to overflow of Gebyuran River.
• Jalan Daan Mogot Gang Pribadi, Kedaung Kali Angke Subdistrict, West Jakarta (50 cm); Jalan Joglo Raya, Joglo Subdistrict, West Jakarta (15 cm) and Adhi Karya Street, South Kedoya Subdistrict, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta (15 cm) were also inundated.
• Meanwhile, floodwaters have receded in several areas, including one neighbourhood unit (RT) in each of the South Sukabumi and North Sukabumi sub-districts, as well as on several roads in South Jakarta and West Jakarta.
• The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) has deployed personnel to monitor the situation, coordinate with the Water Resources Agency, the Public Works Agency, and the Gulkarmat Agency to pump out water, and ensure that the channels are functioning optimally.
• Additionally, the Sunter Hulu and Pesanggrahan Monitoring Posts were raised to Alert or Alert 3 status, while the Pasar Ikan Water Gate was at Alert 2 level. The Angke Hulu Monitoring Post, which was originally at Alert, was raised to Alert 2 at 1800 hours.
