According to reports, flooding continues to affect parts of Amata City Industrial Estate, Chonburi, on Wednesday (30 September) following persistent rainfall and inflows from surrounding areas. Water levels remain around 40 centimetres (cm) deep across Phases Six, Seven, Eight and Nine after damage to a flood protection embankment, affecting movement within the estate and disrupting some business operations.
• Thai authorities, including the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), have established a war room, deployed additional pumping capacity and reinforced flood barriers to prevent further water ingress, particularly into Phases seven to nine and adjacent Phase 10.
• Waterlogged areas covering approximately seven million square metres remain under close monitoring. Authorities reported no additional rainfall on Wednesday (30 September) and are continuing large-scale drainage operations using 26 pumping stations with a combined capacity of 43,000 cubic metres per hour.
