As per reports, dense fog at Málaga-Costa del Sol airport has led to the diversion of three flights to Seville on Tuesday (21 January).

• The three diverted were from Barcelona, Sofia, Bulgaria and Amsterdam, Netherlands.
• Adverse weather conditions, including high humidity, warm air, a cold sea, and low wind, contributed to the unusual density and inland reach of the fog. The Spanish airport authority (Aena) has issued warnings about the conditions, advising travelers to confirm their flight status with airlines.
