As per reports, on Friday (02 January), Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS), reported multiple flight cancellations and delays due to winter weather conditions affecting the Netherlands.

• Schiphol Airport and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines issued advisories warning passengers of potential disruptions to departures and arrivals throughout the day.
• Airport authorities confirmed that dozens of flights had already been cancelled or delayed as of approximately 1120 hours local time (1020 hours UTC).
• The Amsterdam metropolitan area experienced rainfall and sleet from Friday (02 January) morning, contributing to operational challenges at the airport.
• Strong wind conditions were reported in the region, with gusts reaching up to 65 kilometres per hour from around 0600 hours local time (0500 hours UTC).
• A nationwide yellow ice alert remains in effect across the Netherlands until Sunday (04 January) morning, increasing the likelihood of continued travel disruption.
