Rail services scheduled to be suspended between Utrecht and ‘s-Hertogenbosch from Tuesday (11 August)

As per reports, rail services between Utrecht and ‘s-Hertogenbosch are scheduled to remain suspended from Tuesday (11 August) until Thursday (20 August) to facilitate multiple railway infrastructure projects by ProRail.

• Reports indicate passengers travelling between Utrecht Centraal and Eindhoven, Tilburg or Breda are advised to use alternative rail routes via Rotterdam Centraal and expect extended journey times.
• Reports indicate replacement stop buses are scheduled to operate between Geldermalsen and Tiel, Geldermalsen and ‘s-Hertogenbosch, and Geldermalsen and Houten throughout the disruption period.
• Reports indicate express bus services are scheduled to operate between Utrecht Centraal and Den Bosch Oost, and between Boxtel and Geldermalsen. The Utrecht Centraal–Den Bosch Oost express bus is not scheduled to stop at Den Bosch station due to ongoing works in the station area.
• Reports indicate ProRail is undertaking 15 infrastructure projects during the closure, including rail replacement, retaining wall replacement and drainage improvement works.
