• Reportedly, authorities have activated preparedness measures in Houston, while a disaster declaration remains in effect across multiple counties in Texas due to severe weather threats.
• Reports indicate flooding has affected several locations across Houston and surrounding areas, including Montgomery County, the Klein area, Spring Stuebner Road, Grand Parkway, East Downtown Houston, and sections of Interstate 45. School closures and activity cancellations have also been announced by Cleveland Independent School District, Santa Fe Independent School District, and Brazosport Independent School District due to anticipated severe weather and flooding.
