Flash flood warning issued for eastern Pennsylvania on Wednesday (30 July)

As per reports, the National Weather Service (NWS) has issued warnings for heavy rainfall across eastern Pennsylvania beginning on Wednesday (30 July).

The warning is in effect until Thursday (01 August).

• The flash flood warning impacts a wide swath of eastern Pennsylvania, including Adams, York, Lancaster, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Juniata, Lebanon, Montour, Northern Lycoming, Northumberland, Perry, Schuylkill, Snyder, Southern Lycoming, Sullivan and Union counties.
• The forecast includes thunderstorms capable of producing localised flash flooding.
