The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting (NCHMF) has issued a warning for flash floods, landslides and land subsidence at 0440 hours (local time) on Thursday (17 September), valid for the following six hours until 1040 hours (local time).
Rainfall and runoff may trigger flash floods along small streams, alongside landslides and land subsidence on slopes, in Son La, Phu Tho, Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An.
