As per reports, a fire outbreak occurred at the Indonesian Army Dormitory complex in Jalan Sukoharjo, Sail District, Pekanbaru City on Wednesday (31 December). The fire started at approximately 1700 hours (local time).

No official statement from authorities have been released yet. Efforts to extinguish the fire and securing the scene are underway.
