As per reports, as of 1830 hours (local time) on Sunday (10 August), firefighters are responding to a significant structural fire in southwest Houston, reported at a business premises on High Star Drive near S. Kirkwood Road, close to the 12000 block of Moonmist Drive.

• The Houston Fire Department (HFD) was dispatched at approximately 1530 hours (local time) on Sunday (10 August) and initially conducted interior firefighting operations.
• At around 1600 hours (local time) on Sunday (10 August), crews transitioned to a defensive strategy, fighting the fire from outside due to safety concerns.
• The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and there are no confirmed reports of injuries. Emergency crews remain on scene as of now. At around 1730 hours (local time) on Sunday (10 August), one firefighter was taken to a hospital for heat exhaustion.
