As per reports, a fire was reported at 0533 hours (local time) on Friday (21 November) in a 9th-floor residential apartment in Sinwol-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul. Fire crews issued a Level 1 routine incident alert at 0544 hours (local time) and initiated suppression operations. Approximately ten residents, including individuals who had evacuated to the rooftop, were rescued.

The verification of casualty figures remains underway. Police and fire officials will conduct a detailed investigation into the cause of the incident once extinguishing operations conclude.
