As per reports, a major fire broke out in a building located at 26 Avenue d’Iéna, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris on Friday (13 December).

• The fire started around 1000 hours (local time) on Friday (13 December) in a room on the upper floors of the building and has since spread, causing significant damage and producing a visible plume of black smoke.
• Approximately 40 firefighters and 15 fire trucks were deployed to manage the situation, which remains challenging due to the fire’s spread to higher levels of the building. • Preliminary investigations suggest the fire may have been triggered by an electrical incident, but the exact cause has not yet been confirmed.
