Fire incident reported in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday (06 April)

As per reports, a fire broke out at a sawdust processing factory in Vĩnh Tân Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, at around 1515 hours (local time) on Monday (06 April), injuring three workers.

• The blaze ignited at a production facility containing large quantities of sawdust, a highly flammable material, causing the fire to spread rapidly and produce dense smoke.
• Firefighters from the Ho Chi Minh City Fire Prevention and Rescue Police deployed multiple fire engines and personnel to the scene to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby structures. The affected facility, covering an area of around 700 square metres, reported significant damage.
• The three injured individuals sustained burn injuries and were transported to hospital for treatment. Initial assessments indicate their conditions are stable.
• Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire, with early observations suggesting it may have been triggered by equipment failure during production.
