As per reports, a fire incident occurred in Barangay Old Balara, Quezon City, in the early hours of Saturday (17 January). The Bureau of Fire Protection confirmed that the fire was declared out at approximately 0319 hours (local time).

Some affected residents were temporarily relocated to San Antonio Maria Claret Parish for shelter.
