As per reports, a fire broke out at a multi-story commercial building Chitalmari in Bagerhat at around 0915 hours (local time) on Monday (07 April). In response, six firefighting units contained the fire by around 1130 hours (local time), as confirmed by the Khulna Fire Service Assistant Director. One individual has been reported dead due to asphyxiation, and no further casualties have been reported.
