Fire incident reported in an apartment in Budapest on Monday (19 August)

As per reports, a fire broke out in a ground floor apartment of a building on Igaz utca, Budapest in the afternoon on Monday (19 August).

The twelve-square-meter bedroom of the fifty-square-meter apartment was destroyed by the fire. The fire resulted in the death of one resident and the smoke poisoning of four other individuals. The National Directorate General of Disaster Management (OKF) reported that firefighters managed to contain the blaze within five minutes, preventing it from spreading to other parts of the building.
