As per reports, on Wednesday morning (29 October) at around 0445 hours (local time), a fire broke out at two neighboring homes on Jalan Udang, Siantar Timur, Pematang Siantar, North Sumatra. Firefighters from the Pematang Siantar Fire and Rescue Department and a corporate fire unit responded promptly to the affected area.

The fire reportedly damaged both houses, while one death has been reported due to smoke inhalation.
