According to the reports, a fire broke out at around 0010 hours on Thursday (16 January) in Daegu Metropolitan City, South Korea. Seven factories in the Ihyeon-dong industrial zone in Seo-gu were reportedly damaged by the fire, which spread rapidly due to the presence of flammable building materials.
In response, the Daegu Fire Department dispatched 139 firefighters and 51 fire trucks to extinguish the fire, and the firefighting operations persisted for two hours. Although no casualties were reported, the authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
