As per reports, a major fire was reported at the zonal office branch of the Bank of India in Baripada on Monday (29 April). The fire first broke out in the canteen located on the third floor of the building, trapping three persons who were later rescued.

Two fire fighting teams have been pressed into service and efforts are underway to douse the fire.
