As per reports, a fire broke out in an apartment building located in Lane 58, Bade Street, Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City on Friday (25 September) at approximately 0641 hours (local time).
• Emergency services responded to the scene, bringing the fire under control at 0704 hours (local time) and extinguishing it by 0748 hours (local time).
• A total of 57 residents were evacuated from the building during the operation and emergency personnel transported 14 residents to local hospitals for observation due to smoke inhalation.
• No severe injuries or casualties have been reported yet.
