As per reports, a fire broke out in underground power cables along Shaheed Path in Lucknow at approximately 1245 hours (local time) on Friday (24 April). The incident was reportedly caused by extreme heat affecting the underground electrical network.
• Emergency response teams, including electricity department personnel and firefighting units, were deployed to the location. The fire was brought under control within approximately 30 minutes of response, preventing further escalation.
• No injuries or casualties have been reported in connection with the incident. Authorities have managed to contain the situation, and normalcy is being restored in the affected stretch.
